Poseidon usually loses his crown due to a variety of reasons, like being taken by large waves that he can’t always control, or just being sneaked away sometimes by sneaky creatures in his kingdom. Nevertheless, he still wants to wear a crown always, hence he is always prepared. So, he always has a backup of like 10 crowns in his storage. If that diminishes by one, he would immediately commission for a new one to replace it. 

But of all his crowns, he actually had a favorite, and he was so devastated when he lost it long ago. It was the Waterdrop Crown. For him, that stood out the most, but no one knows the reason why as he never told anyone. Up to this day, he is still searching for it and he never loses hope that he will find it again.
